R&R Rail Trail Experience

The R&R Rail Trail Experience is an event incorporating a duathlon and fun run in Blackbutt, Queensland. The BVRT Ambassadors wanted to encourage recreational use of this beautiful trail to the wider community of walkers, runners & bicycle riders, so in partnership with G’onya Adventures, The R&R Rail Trail Experience was born. Come and see first hand this beautiful section of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail for yourself in a very festive way with this event. The events start and finish at the Blackbutt Showgrounds and travel to nearby Nukku, Benankin, Linville and Moore. There are three events available: 1) 30/30 A 30 km run all slightly downhill and then ride your mountain bike back to the Blackbutt Showgrounds. 2) Duathlon 4km run, 18km ride, 1km run along the rail trail 3) 8km rail trail fun run/walk. Camping is available at the Blackbutt Showgrounds the night before or after as this is the Labour day long weekend.
