The Nowra Triathlon Festival, or Tri Nowra, offers a 1.5/40/10 standard distance triathlon as well as shorter options.
The 1500m swim leg will be held in the Shoalhaven River with a deep water start. Once swimmers hit dry land, the 40km cycle leg consists of a two lap, flat and fast out-and-back course. The 10km run leg is mostly flat and consists of two laps.
The course has been described as fast and flat, with a picturesque bike leg heading out along the rich river flat country.
