The Rip View Swim Classic is a 1.4km or 3.8km open water swim, a favourite for those new to open water swimming.
The location at Port Phillip Heads makes our swim totally dependent on low tide, and we carefully select the most suitable date between Christmas and the Pier to Pub.
The 1.4 km course is popular with swimmers as it is basically a 'straight line' course, you are not in 'deep' water, you are never too far from shore, tidal influences are generally with the direction of the swim and the smaller number of swimmers makes it a friendly and enjoyable swim.
