The Queensland Cross Triathlon Championships Multisport Weekend is based in the spectacular Sunshine Coast Hinterland on the banks of Ewen Maddock Dam. The rainforest trails and fern filled bushland provide the perfect setting for the TreX season finale. With on-site accommodation and camping, this a premier event for the entire family. The QLD Champs is also a qualifying round for the Snowy Mountains 2016 ITU World Cross Triathlon Championships.
The weekend includes something for everyone, regardless of age or skill-level! The event kicks off on the Saturday morning with the Qld Champs Cross Triathlon, as well as the Sprint, Teaser/Junior and Dirt Kids Cross Triathlons. Saturday afternoon the Qld Multisport Festival continues with a spectacular 8km or 4km trail run that includes uneven, rocky trails through ferned rainforests, a creek crossing, some open trails and of course more of what we love about off-road racing with some wet & muddy sections.Location
