WW1 Queenslander ChallengeThe WW1 Queenslander Challenge is an opportunity to challenge yourself or walk with mates along a trek from the Gap to Woodford (100km, 4 sections, 2 days),

Enter as an Individual and test your limits or enter with friends and form a relay team.

To coincide with the centenary of our ANZACS, 2014 -2018 - Legacy Brisbane/Soldier On the official pledged charities and Executive Excellence Events have proudly joined forces to bring you a unique opportunity to commemorate the sacrifices made by the brave men and women of Queensland in WW1 with the WW1 Queenslander Challenge.

Mates will be tested side by side both physically and emotionally in this challenging 100 km trek through rugged terrain – it is a not race, rather than an experience. Participants will carry with them a commemorative brick representing the fallen soldiers of World War 1. This brick, engraved with the name of one of the 6967 fallen soldiers who called Queensland home will be used to form part of a new memorial at Woodford RSL dedicated to Queensland ANZACS and commemorating the 100 year anniversary of WW1.

This your opportunity to be part of an exciting challenge that evokes the spirit of the ANZAC and Queenslanders while commemorating the 100th year anniversary of World War 1.
