ITU Cross Triathlon World Champs

The ITU Cross Triathlon World Championships will be held at Lake Crackenback in the beautiful Snowy Mountains of New South Wales.

The main event consisting of a 1500m swim, 30km mountain bike and 10km run will take place on Saturday 19th November, 2016. Shorter events including events for children will take place on Sunday 20th November, 2016.

For the main event, the 1500m swim will consist of a 2 lap swim in Lake Crackenback. The 2 lap 30km MTB leg comprises of approximately 80% grippy, flowing single track, as well as rocky paths, bridges, rock gardens and creek crosings which will require some technical skills to tackle effectively.

The three lap 10km trail run course is a true trail run where runners will go off road, traverse the banks of the Little Thredbo River and the Snowy Mountains before heading for the finish line.

All participants should expect to get wet, muddy and dirty in true off-road trail fashion!
