Adventure Racing World Championship 2016The AR World Championship 2016, hosted by the XPD Expedition Race, will take teams representing over 30 countries on a 600km journey through the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales (NSW), Australia.

The winning team is estimated to complete the non stop, unsupported course of trekking, mountain biking, kayaking and navigation in 4.5 days. The event will be a straight out linear race, no mandatory stops, no dark zones, no optional controls - pure adventure racing at it’s best!

It has been a long tradition of Adventure Racing that elite and novice teams race shoulder to shoulder on the same course and this will be embraced by the ARWC 2016. The course will remain open for 8 days, with only one short course option at the end of the race, giving most teams the opportunity to finish.

Entries open on 24th of February 2016. 30 Qualifying spots for the AR World Series Teams, 40 spots allocated on a first in first served basis, 10 spots for special interest teams.
