The Bathurst Edgell Jog is a 7.5km fun run supporting local community groups.
In 1976, the Edgell Jog commenced to mark the 50th anniversary of the Edgell organisation. Edgell was the first company in Australia to start canning vegetables with the launch of Edgell Asparagus in 1926 in Bathurst.
The first event attracted 800 competitors and was called the Jubilee Jog but total participant numbers over the years have been in excess of 50,000.
