Canberra Marathon

The Canberra Times Marathon Festival is a major road running event held in Canberra on 10-11 April 2027, with the event hub based at John Dunmore Lang Place. Presented by TCS and hosted by Sole Motive, the festival uses iconic closed roads through the national capital and is designed to deliver a big-event experience across two days of racing.

A key feature of the festival is its broad range of distances. Sunday’s headline events are the TCS Marathon (42.2km) and Half Marathon (21.1km), while Saturday features the Runner’s World 10K, Charterpoint 5K and Kids Dash. The event page also lists a 13.5K walk-or-run option as part of the weekend program. All distances, apart from the Kids Dash, are AIMS-certified.
