The Cape Paterson Aquathon is an swim/run event consisting of a 400m surf swim and 4.4km run.
The race begins at First Surf beach with a 400m surf swim. Swimmers are then to head up the stairs to the transition area and complete a 4.4km run around the township of Cape Paterson.
The Cape Paterson Aquathon is the first event of the Bass Coast Series.
