Echo Rip to River Classic

The Echo Rip to River Classic is a a 10k surf beach fun run from "The Rip" Point Lonsdale to Ocean Grove by the Barwon River.

Also available to participate in is a 5k fun run and the 1.4km 'Ripper Nipper' fun run.

Arguably the oldest Fun Run in Australia, the Echo Rip to River, held early every Summer, is one of Ocean Grove Surf Club's most iconic events. It is also the surf life saving club's single biggest fundraiser and each year welcomes approximately 1500 runners to the pristine hard sand track from the Pt Lonsdale lighthouse to the main beach at Ocean Grove.
