Gumbuya World Running Festival

The Gumbuya World Running Festival is a family-friendly running event held at Gumbuya World, located in Tynong in Melbourne’s south-east. Combining fitness with fun, the festival offers participants the rare opportunity to run within the grounds of one of Victoria’s popular theme parks.

The event features multiple distance options designed to suit a wide range of ages and abilities, from shorter fun runs ideal for children and families through to longer courses for more committed runners. The courses weave through parklands and selected areas of the venue, creating a lively and engaging race atmosphere.

With entertainment, attractions and a strong community focus, the Gumbuya World Running Festival is designed as more than just a race day. It offers a relaxed, inclusive experience that encourages participation, family involvement and an enjoyable day out alongside the challenge of completing your chosen run.
