Mountain Designs ARA Family Adventure Challenge

Run in conjunction with the Mountain Designs Adventure Race Australia, the Family Adventure Challenge is a short, fun event for young racers and their families and is open to racers aged 5 years and over. Teams of two to four will be issued a map including a number of check points within Kholo Gardens. Teams must visit the check points on foot and then return to Race HQ in the quickest time they can! Some check points will include some quick, fun adventure challenges which teams can choose to tackle. These could include anything from paddling to tubing to mental challenges and maybe even a climb or two. Teams will discover on the day exactly what awaits them on the course and choose which challenges they wish to take on. The family adventure challenge will be based at beautiful Kholo Gardens located on the banks of the Brisbane River. The gardens, with large open spaces and meandering boardwalks through bushland and sub-tropical rainforests, are an idyllic location for a family
