About this event
The Mt Brown Run is a 6km fun run or walk which makes up part of The York Festival in Western Australia.
Here’s an opportunity for you to be one of those who sets one of the four records for the inaugural Mt Brown Run which will take place at 7am Saturday 10th September. The Mt Brown Run is open to anyone interested in running or walking the 6km course which will become an annual event and a permanent feature of The York Festival.
The 6km course starts in the centre of town (outside the York Post Office), runs to the Great Southern Hwy/Avon Terrace intersection, turns left over the river, then left into Panmure Road and right into Mount Street to run up the path past the cemetery to the top of Mt Brown, then returning down Pioneer Drive/Steere Road/Lincoln Street, left into Newcastle Street, right into Glebe Street over the river into South Street and right into Avon Terrace and finish back at the Post Office.
