Mudgee Classic
About this event
The Mudgee Classic is a weekend cycling event held in Mudgee, New South Wales, on 1–2 May 2027. Showcasing the region’s wine country, rolling hills and rural scenery, the event is designed for cyclists of all abilities and combines both road and gravel riding across two days.
The program features six ride options. On Saturday, riders can choose between two gravel events: the 90km Grit Classic and 55km Dash Classic. On Sunday, the road ride program includes the 170km Maxi Classic, 120km Challenge Classic, 65km Rouleurs Classic and 35km Social Classic. This broad spread of distances makes the event suitable for experienced endurance riders, recreational cyclists and families alike.
With its mix of gravel and gran fondo-style road riding, the Mudgee Classic offers a scenic and flexible cycling weekend in one of regional New South Wales’ best-known food and wine destinations.
