The Run2Cure Neuroblastoma is a fun run that comprises of four events - a 10km fun run, 5km, 3km and 1km kids events, to help raise funds for Neuroblastoma Australia.
The 1km Junior Dash is open to children aged six to ten years only.
The 10k fun run kicks off at 7:30am followed by the other events and the conclusion of the day taking place at 1pm.
A range of children's events will be taking place as entertainment including cricket, soccer, an obstacle course, pony rides and range of other fun activities.
Neuroblastoma Australia Incorporated is a not-for-profit volunteer charity set up by two families affected by Neuroblastoma in 2010. Everyone who works for Neuroblastoma Australia is a volunteer. The organisation was inspired by Sienna Hoffmann who lost her battle to Neuroblastoma when she was just two and a half years old and the frangipani logo is dedicated to Sienna who loved these beautiful flowers.
Neuroblastoma is a childhood cancer with the average age of diagnosis being just 2 years old. It claims more lives of children under the age of 5 than any other cancer.
