DATE: 4 Mar 2018
TYPE: Cycling
LOCATION: Orange, NSW
DISTANCE: 170km and 70km
The Newcrest Orange Challenge is a 170km or 70km cycle event exploring the Central West tablelands of New South Wales. Orange is a popular location of western New South Wales, nestled among the rolling hills, vineyards and picturesque open plains, all creating an idyllic setting for cycling. While the event is not an easy challenge, the one-day classic style event features a mix of climbs and open roads, putting your fitness and experience to the test. Not unlike the classic finish line in Roubaix, you'll celebrate victory over the course by completing a lap of the velodrome, followed by a recovery enjoying the local food and wine. The event is supported by Bicycle Network, providing full on-route support, food and rest stops.
