The Sorrento Bay Swim is a 4km or 2km bay swim with a 600m distance option for junior swimmers.
The course takes place in Port Phillip Bay and runs adjacent to the beach, providing a relatively safe and calm course for swimmers to enjoy.
Established as a major fundraising activity for the Sorrento Surf Club, the Bay Swim provides a safe, well managed swim held after New Year's Eve for competitors to enjoy.
The swim showcases the historic Sorrento shopping precinct and surroundings and is a drawcard for people looking for a great day out.
