The Spartan Melbourne 2026 event weekend is an urban obstacle course race held at Werribee Racecourse, 33 Ballan Road, Werribee, on 8–9 August 2026. Designed to suit both beginners and experienced competitors, the Melbourne course is promoted as a fast, flat layout that allows participants to test themselves across Spartan’s signature obstacle racing format in a location close to the city.
The event offers several race options across the weekend. On Saturday, entrants can take on the 5km Sprint featuring 20 obstacles or the 10km Super with 25 obstacles. On Sunday, the program includes a Kids Race covering 1–3km with obstacles, as well as a 4-Hour Hurricane Heat for those looking for a different endurance-style challenge. A Super and Sprint Combo Pass is also available for participants wanting to complete multiple races.
With its mix of accessible race formats, spectator appeal and obstacle-focused challenge, Spartan Melbourne is well suited to first-timers, competitive racers and families looking for a high-energy event weekend in Melbourne’s west.
