Step Out for Cancer returns in October 2026, giving participants exclusive access to three of Sydney's most iconic sporting venues – Allianz Stadium, the Sydney Cricket Ground, and Royal Randwick Racecourse – for a fitness-filled day with a powerful purpose.
Funds raised go directly to the Minderoo Children's Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MCCCC) in Randwick, where researchers and clinicians work side-by-side to accelerate life-saving discoveries for children facing cancer.
Three event formats are on offer:
6km Walk — through Allianz Stadium and the SCG, finishing at Royal Randwick Racecourse
5km or 10km Run — looped course at Royal Randwick Racecourse
Challenge Run — a new 2-hour timed challenge for individuals and teams
After your walk or run, the celebration continues at the Theatre of the Horse with live music, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and appearances from Sydney's biggest sports teams including the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Sydney Sixers, Sydney FC Foundation and GWS Giants.
