The Sunshine Coast CycleFest provides cyclists with an opportunity to challenge themselves over several of the Sunshine Coast's most popular cycling routes.
On Saturday 24th September, the King and Queen of the Mountain Challenge is a timed 7.5km from Palmwoods to Montville with almost 6km of the ride rising over 400m.
On Sunday 25th September, the 95km Gran Fondo & 25km Piccolo Fondo take in scenic views of the Sunshine Coast beaches and hinterland, raising funds for SANDS Queensland.
SANDS Queensland is a grassroots member organisation that provides support, information, education and advocacy for parents and families who experience the death of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, newborn death or other pregnancy losses. SANDS members are bereaved parents who provide essential care to each other through peer support. SANDS also works closely with midwives, social workers and doctors to ensure that bereaved parents receive the support they need while they are engaged with the healthcare system.
Sunshine Coast CycleFest will raise vital funds so that SANDS Queensland can continue their valuable support role on the Sunshine Coast.
