Surf Rescue Run

Run for your lifesavers! This year, a new and exciting fun run is coming to the Gold Coast, but with a bit of a difference! Run entirely on sand, the inaugural Surf Rescue Run will see participants tackle a 5km or 10km course against the iconic backdrop of Surfers Paradise, all while raising vital funds to help save lives on Queensland beaches. There will also be a 1km Kids’ Dash. Every year, Queensland’s volunteer surf lifesavers rescue thousands of swimmers and prevent countless drownings through education and preventative actions. However, surf lifesavers rely heavily on the ongoing support of communities and organisations to continue this vital work. The Surf Rescue Run is designed to provide the community with a fun, challenging and unique opportunity to help save lives on Queensland beaches by raising crucial funds to support volunteer lifesavers. Entry includes a free race singlet and various goodies from event sponsors.
