Described as one of the most scenic and spectacular courses in Australia, the Sydney Marathon attracts around 35,000 participants annually.
Run one of the world’s most scenic marathon courses, taking in some of Sydney’s most spectacular and historic landmarks including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
The popularity of the marathon has attracted both international and local elite athletes – and is a candidate raace for the Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM).
In addition to the 42.2km marathon, the Sydney Marathon Festival also offers a half marathon, 10km fun run, and a 3.5k fun run.
Runners of all skill levels, as well as walkers and joggers of all ages, will be able to experience a challenge or a fun day out with family and friends.
