As an introduction to the Big Swim, the annual Palm Beach to Whale Beach Ocean Swim, The Little Big Swim is a close to shore 1Km swim out of kiddies corner at Palm Beach around Cabbage Tree Boat Harbour and back to the beach.
Commencing at 8.30am some swimmers will use the Little Big Swim as a warm up for the main event, The Big Swim but most can find a gentle introduction to real ocean swimming out through the breakers around the buoys and back through the break. With substantial water safety on hand it's a perfect entry to the sport of Ocean Swims.
