The Wellness Walk & Research Run

Join the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre (ONJ Centre) on Sunday 11 September to raise vital funds for breakthrough cancer research and wellness and supportive care programs. The Wellness Walk has attracted over 6,000 participants and raised more than $400,000 since its inception three years ago. The 2016 event will be proudly hosted at the Bundoora Campus of La Trobe University, our official Event Partner. This year the event will introduce the inaugural Research Run led by run ambassador, Australian sporting legend Steve Moneghetti. Participants can choose to walk or run either a 5km or 10km course through the La Trobe University campus. The new event will complement the Wellness Walk and provide a fantastic opportunity for the dedicated running community to show their support. The day will also include live stage performances, family activities, food trucks and opportunities to engage with our generous sponsors. About the ONJ Centre The philosophical focus of The ONJ Centre is to provide worlds-best practice treatment, to provide support through our wellness programs and to undertake critical research aimed at curing cancer. We are committed to developing and delivering integrated wellness programs that enhance the wellbeing of patients, carers and staff. It is complementary to the medical treatment provided and an integral part of the unique care we offer.
