Popular Aussie professional triathletes Rebekah Keat and Luke Bell have won the 2015 edition of Challenge Shepparton.

In the women’s race, Keat put on a show of consistency by posting solid swim, bike and run splits to cross the line in a very respectable 4:13:47. Yvonne Van Vlerken and Radka Vodickova finished second and third respectively.

Exiting the swim and T1 just a handful of seconds from the leaders, Bell blitzed the bike leg, posting a 2:06:46 split for 90km and in the process, setting himself up nicely for the run. A solid 1:17:55 half marathon saw Bell’s return to winning form come to life, crossing the line around four minutes ahead of second place Sam Betten.
