About this event

The Sparke Helmore / NBN Triathlon is a triathlon festival held on the Newcastle Foreshore with various distance options up to the Olympic 1500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.

The main event is the Olympic distance triathlon consisting of a 1500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run, as well as the Sprint distance 750m swim, 19.5km cycle and 5km run.

In addition, there are shorter options including a women's triathlon, relay and junior aquathlon.
