Triple Edge T3X Long Distance Triathlon

The Triple Edge T3X Long Distance Triathlon held in Canberra is an ITU long distance triathlon. A half-distance event will be held in conjunction with the long distance event. The festival will feature four Saturday races - 5km swim, 10km swim, Road Race and Canberra Marathon. On the Sunday, two triathlons will be held including the first Endurance Tri which is Australia’s only true “ITU Long Distance” Triathlon. The 4km swim course takes place on a two lap circuit in Canberra's Lake Burley Griffin. The 108km cycle course consists of four 30km laps of a loop skirting the edge of Lake Burley Griffin before tackling a 3.2km climb (average gradient of 2.6%), so the Canberra roads will reward strong cyclists. The 33km run course consists of three laps along a scenic run course providing views of Lake Burley Griffin and a circuit of Parliament House on each lap.
