Following a successful career as a professional triathlete, Miles Stewart has been appointed as the new CEO of Triathlon Australia
Since retiring from elite racing in 2004, the Aussie triathlete known for his all-round strength and finishing kick has experienced success as the Head of Leasing for Charter Hall, a $14.5 billion property funds management business.
His appointment follows Anne Gripper vacating the role after a five year term at the helm of Triathlon Australia.

Stewart accumulated a list of achievements few can match, including two World Championships, ITU World Cup wins, a Commonwealth Games silver medal, a sixth place in the Sydney Olympic Triathlon and induction into the Triathlon Australia Hall of Fame. He also built a reputation as a strategic and powerful short course athlete throughout the Australian super sprint series in the 1990s.
