Premiering on June 5th, the Netflix film ‘Under Paris’ centres around the River Seine in Paris.
Directed by Xavier Gens, and set to release on Netflix on June 5, 2024, Under Paris follows Sophia, a brilliant scientist, who discovers a large shark swimming in the Seine river just as Paris is set to host the World Triathlon Championships.
Sophia teams up with Mika, a young environmental activist, and Adil, the Seine river police commander, to prevent a catastrophe in the heart of Paris.
Whilst it’s terrific to see the sport of triathlon gaining exposure via Netflix, with the Paris Olympic triathlon and marathon swimming events approaching, this might be a film our Olympians are giving a wide berth.
