A Walk in the Park is your chance – one day in the year – to show your support, knowing that every dollar raised helps improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s in Victoria. This leisurely, non-competitive walk (2km or 4km) takes place along the banks of the picturesque Yarra River and brings together people from all walks of life - those living with Parkinson's, family, friends, carers, and health professionals. A range of fun family activities will entertain kids and adults alike…and the pet pooch! Whoever you know; show your support. Take a Walk in the Park on Sunday 27th August. A Walk in the Park is proudly presented by Parkinson’s Victoria, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s. All funds raised continue Parkinson’s Victoria’s Health Information Service which provides tailored support to engage, educate and empower people living with Parkinson’s and health professionals to take the lead on diagnosis and treatment; enhancing independence and quality of life for those living with the condition.
